Sue Biesecker

Certified Veterinary Technician |
 |
Sue Biesecker graduated from
Virginia Tech with a Biology degree in 1992. She
started her career in the pharmaceutical industry
working as a microbiologist for Hoffmann La-Roche in the
Quality Control laboratory. From there she moved into
the biotech industry, working in the analytical
chemistry and biochemistry fields. She advanced in her
career and became a Supervisor of Quality Assurance. In
1996 she got her first dog, a Great Dane, which prompted
an evaluation of career choices. During her last four
years in this industry she went back to school and in
2001 received her Associate of Applied Science degree in
Veterinary Technology. She left the biotech industry
and began working as a Registered Veterinary
Technician.
Although Sue’s love for animals
(and her first spoiled Great Dane) prompted the change,
quality medical care and client education and
interaction is an important part of her position. She
enjoys talking with clients and hearing their own
stories about their beloved pets.
Sue lives with her husband, their
son, her Great Dane and two cats. |

Lainey Anderson
Assistant |
|
 |
Lainey Anderson works
part time at Triadelphia Veterinary Clinic as a
veterinary assistant. She is currently studying to be a
veterinary technician. Lainey has a background as a
kennel attendant / receptionist, and a grooming
assistant. When working in the kennel, she was able to
give lots of care and comfort to home-sick animals.
Working in the grooming department has helped her to be
more attuned to the animal’s behaviors, and feelings.
One of Lainey’s favorite things about her jobs has been
the relationships that form with recurrent clients and
their pets. She is enjoying getting to know the clients
at Triadelphia.
Lainey owns four cats
(Davy, Mikey, Katie, and Zoe), as well as one Terrier
mix named Jamie. Jamie was adopted after Lainey found
her on petfinder.com.
“I’ve always loved
dogs and cats, and this is a great opportunity for me to
work with them in such a caring environment. The feeling
of knowing that I am a part of helping an animal is
incredibly rewarding. I am excited to be a part of the
Triadelphia team to aid sick and well animals alike. ”
